Is Social Media Important for Business?

I think social media is essential in today’s competitive market. I know personally, other than than word of mouth I get pretty much all of my business from social media. If a business can effectively advertise and market on social media they increase their chances at success extensively because they are able to reach such a larger audience of customers that they wouldn’t be able to other wise. That’s why I think that the Social Media class I took is so helpful because it taught us how a business can take advantage of all the free social media options out that and how to do it the right way.
